About The Tournament
Copa Coca-Cola is an international youth soccer tournament and a global celebration of soccer passion. Copa Coca-Cola unites more than 1 million teens in over 60 countries around the world promoting an active lifestyle and encouraging values such as team spirit, friendship and respect.
In the United States, Copa Coca-Cola invites teams from around the country to play in a series of local round robin tournaments and one national final in Los Angeles April 18 - 20, 2014. This free tournament is open to teens between the ages of 13 and 15 years old, and will be held in 10 US cities.
The Copa Coca-Cola Tournament is more than a game. It is an opportunity for teens to be active, make new friends and learn what it takes to be part of a team. The Copa Coca-Cola Tournament brings soccer fans together and allows everyone to celebrate their love and passion for the game. Registered through the Join Tab between 12:00 a.m. ET on January 1 and 11:59 p.m. ET on February 16, 2014 or until all spots are taken.
Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Each team member must be 13-15 year olds born between 2/1/99 and 2/1/01.
Additionally, it is required that each team has at least 5 players (maximum of 7) to complete their team registration. Each individual team member must fully complete the online registration process and complete and turn in all additional forms. Forms will be distributed via email once your online registration is complete. Please see the Official Rules found on this website for more details.
A 30 team round robin tournament per gender bracket will be held in 10 participating cities. Six (6) divisions of five (5) teams each with 1st and 2nd place teams advancing to playoffs. Additionally, in the spirit of friendship and team camaraderie, Copa Coca-Cola will also offer a second chance division for additional teams to advance.
The series of local tournaments will lead into one national final in Los Angeles from April 18 - 20, 2014 featuring one team per bracket from each market.
The winners of the National Tournament will be crowned the champions of the 2014 Copa Coca-Cola Tournament and will receive an exciting prize pack as well as the opportunity to enter to win an experience of a lifetime: a trip to Sao Paulo, Brazil from June 10 - 15, 2014 for Copa Coca-Cola Camp during the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
Each team will consist of a minimum of 5 players and maximum of 7 (5 aside and 2 substitutes).
